The Reality of Life (Pt 2)

Bam, Bam, Bam.................Pufff!!!, The silence that occurs when sound wave cancels each other, that deafening sound when a gun is shot. Your heart is almost jumping out from your mouth, for your words determines where you will be in 30mins. The fear of death, the fear of rape, the fear of life. You wish it's a dream, pinching yourself only realizing it's your reality. "Your money or your life", the armed robbers exclaims......

You drank the last cup of garri before going to bed, hoping that tomorrow will be a blessing and not a curse like the days before. Now, a bitter reality is before you, telling you to choose between the money you do not have and the life you might loose anyway out of starvation.

How do you relate your problems to the robbers??? You are living in a three-bedroom flat with big plasma television, lots of beautiful things are in the house, in short the house is so beautiful that one can say it is paradise on earth.... How then do you want to convince the robbers that you are better of dead because you are worthless. But you just graduated from the university and you are squatting in a friend's house who left a day before to visit home.

The armed robbers reminds you of their presence by shooting the footstool, "Your money or Your Life"...... Already impatient, one of them shoots you.......... Oh! Life, is this how it ends, a graduate.......... See her predicament...........

Awakened by the sounds of sirens, she opened her eyes and finds herself in the hospital, the bullet just gave her a bruise. She Survived.... Oh She Survived!!........ Death came to claim her life but God's mercy said NO.
